About Us
Immigrants have shaped California’s wine industry for generations. They have worked the vineyards, harvested the fruit, and helped build the legacy of wine in this state. Yet when it comes to ownership and recognition, they are still largely left out. Less than one percent of California wineries are Mexican owned.
Reclamación Wines was founded by the son of immigrants who grew up in the vineyards of Monterey County. After years of watching others take credit for work done behind the scenes, he set out to create something of his own, something that honors the people and stories too often left out of the spotlight. The name, Reclamación, means to reclaim; and that is exactly what this is about.
This is more than just wine. It is a call for equity, representation, and opportunity. Every bottle is a tribute to the labor, culture, and history that have long deserved a seat at the table.
